Dog Walking

Dog Walking
Daily exercise is essential to keeping your dog healthy, both mentally and physically. Exercise improves your dog’s overall well-being by helping build muscle tone and by helping prevent depression, obesity, joint problems, heart conditions and behavioral issues.

Most dogs, especially younger, active dogs should be given the chance to exercise 2 to 4 times a day. This can take the form of a romp in the backyard or a walk around town. This time spent outdoors will also give your dog the opportunity to relieve itself.
For those of you who are unable to walk / exercise your dogs, The Tail Trail can help!
Many Tail Trail clients hire us to walk their dogs when they are at work (usually between 11am and 1pm). Most of our clients request that we visit Monday through Friday. Others prefer that we come on either Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday and Thursday. So, whatever your schedule, we can certainly design a program that will work for both you and your dog(s).

In addition to our walking / exercising your dog(s) The Tail Trail will:
Paw Ensure that your dog has ample water
PawFeed your dog, if appropriate
PawAdminister medication
PawClean and dispose of any 'accident'
PawTake in your mail
